Am I weird that I still prefer buttons?

Touchscreens are a major reason I will never get into mobile gaming. There's just not enough feedback and I feel screens will never be able to provide the feel that buttons do.

No. Im gonna be stuck driving a pre 20teens vehicle forever. Not because im that odd 'obsessed with old cars to a fault' guy, but because I fucking hate touchscreen dashboards SO. FUCKING. MUCH. they're flat out awful and I loathe their imposition.

Not at all. Buttons can be extremely reliably pressed without looking at them, unlike a touchscreen. I could type entire sentences reliably without even looking at my phone let alone my fingers when I had one with physical buttons. No chance of that happening with a touchscreen.

No. For many applications touchscreens aren't a feature but a cost cutting measure. High quality electromechanical components (buttons, rotary encoders, potentiometers) are some of the most expensive single components you will find in circuits. Touch screens are heavily commoditized. By replacing physical buttons by touchscreens companies get to save money and pretend it's a "feature" because it seems more modern somehow.
