The only description is:

Number of btc sent in the last 24 hours (in satoshi)

Does it mean that it shows the total number of Bitcoin (in satoshis) that have been sent in any Bitcoin transactions for the last 24 hours counting from the current moment? As in, technical Bitcoin transactions on the blockchain? Not some kind of internal (or combined) exchange data?

Am I understanding what it means correctly? I'm surprised that it doesn't differentiate between "bought Bitcoins" and "sold Bitcoins", but this also makes me think it's talking about only the technical Bitcoins being "transacted" on the blockchain.

The number is currently 1.95 million BTC. That many Bitcoins have actually flown around just in the 24 hours? Sounds way more than I thought... Is that unusually much?
